Barry and Susan Hillegas established Autawash of Colorado in 1987. They began the company with one store in the Denver Tech Center. Today, Autawash operates 3 Stores located in Centennial, Aurora and Denver. Autawash has plans to continue expansion efforts in the south Denver Metro area in the coming year and is interested in hiring career-minded managers to help support company growth.

Being locally owned and operated, Barry Hillegas spends his time growing the company and is hands-on in the business on a daily basis. He has committed many resources to develop his managers to operate their own profit centers in the automotive appearance industry. The Autawash philosophy is that we must take care of the customer first so that they will entrust us with their vehicles' appearance needs. To this end, Autawash has many training programs to ensure that employees understand how to do their jobs well and provide excellent customer service to a broad range of customers.

Customers pay from $5.99 to over $200.00 for services performed on their vehicles.  There is a lot to learn! This is why managers are trained from the ground up in the business with a combination of hands-on and classroom training programs.

To be eligible for the Manager Development Program, employees must demonstrate successful management in a retail, service, or automotive environment. For those who need this experience, Autawash believes in promoting its talented employees who are already on staff into the Manager Development Program.
